It turns out that the salar (a natural reservoir of open salt) remains completely dry on most days of the year, but in the rainy season that comes with summer, the site can become submerged. When this happens, flat salt becomes a kind of mirror, which reflects the entire scene on the ground. Then the sky meets the Earth. Beautiful!!
